Breast cancer screening can save your life.
Every woman has a risk of getting breast cancer, and the risk increases with age. You and your doctor can help in the early detection of breast cancer.
Mammograms, clinical breast examinations, and patient awareness can help detect breast cancer earlier. A clinical breast exam is when your doctor or another trained health professional checks your breast for any abnormal changes. We follow the guidelines of the Alberta Cancer Board as outlined in Screening for Life.ca.
The Breast Clinic offers two basic services:
To Book a Breast Health Consultation
The Breast Clinic provides breast exams by self-referral and for patients referred by their physician, medical clinic, or agency.
Please call to book an appointment for a breast health consultation at (403) 254-2030.
